Earl, a lifelong Alaskan, joined CGFR as a volunteer fire fighter and medic in fall of 2004. He served for five years on C Shift, one year as B Shift Lieutenant, and maintained Emergency Medical Technician 1 and Fire Fighter 1 & 2 ratings. In mid-2010, Earl hung up his hat as a fire and rescue volunteer and joined the Board of Directors. Earl now lives in the Murphy Dome area near Station 1.
